Dispatch Supervisor (Steel | Manufacturing)

Job Responsibilities

• Assists the Dispatch Manager with control of the Warehouse and Dispatch Department
• Controls the flow of finished goods, from the factory to dispatch and loading
• Liaises with other branches to coordinate intercompany orders and deliveries
• Ensures orders are checked against picking slips
• Supervises and assists with the loading of all orders
• Plans and schedules transport with company vehicles and third-party transporters
• Ensures timely delivery of all orders
• Liaises with internal staff and transporters to resolve queries
• Ensures a safe working environment and adheres to housekeeping standards

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate
• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics - advantageous
• 2-5 years experience in a dispatch capacity
• Previous experience in a Warehouse environment
