Dispatch (Montreal)

The dispatcher will be responsible for the daily coordination of container movements. He or she will ensure that routes are optimized, deadlines are met and a high level of customer service is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate container transport
• Assign drivers and optimize routes and loads
• Monitor deliveries and manage unforeseen events
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers and partners
• Ensure compliance with deadlines, safety standards, and procedures
• Keep dispatch systems and documentation up to date
• Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in container transport distribution (LTL and TL an asset)
• Excellent organizational and priority management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in an agile environment
• Good communication skills and team spirit
