About the Role

Robert Half is partnering with a client downtown Toronto seeking a knowledgeable and forward-thinking Director of Accounting. This is a full-time, senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished accounting professional who thrives on building robust financial frameworks and supporting strategic organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all corporate accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reporting, and compliance.
Direct the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial results.
Lead the design and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support organizational governance and mitigate risk.
