About the Role
Job Responsibilities
Lead problem-solving for BIW geometry and G/F fit issues during new vehicle launches and project execution at assembly plants.
Develop and update GD&T drawings for BIW components and assemblies.
Perform datum and tool locator and tolerance analysis to ensure KPI compliance of dimensional conformance and process capability during launch phases
Approve assembly tooling and BIW gauge designs at suppliers and plants.
Support validation of measurement systems and assembly tools during launch phases.
Collaborate with metrology/plant teams to resolve build issues.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronic Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
Knowledge of GD&T and body tolerance analysis.
Familiarity with measurement technologies (e.g., scanning, CMM, laser tracker, vision systems).
