Role: Diagnostic Engineer – Automotive
Location: Bangalore, India
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days
Responsibilities
Perform fault tracing and root cause analysis of Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
Develop and update truck diagnostic procedures for dealer/technician service teams.
Collaborate with ECU/software teams to ensure fault codes and parameters are accurate and serviceable.
Create Troubleshooting Guides and Diagnostic Flowcharts.
Support corrective actions for high-impact or safety-related issues.
Ensure diagnostic coverage for new truck models before launch.
Implement requirements in tools like SEWS.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of Automotive System Design.
Experience with OEM truck diagnostic platforms (e.g., TechTool).
Knowledge of CAN, LIN, J1939, OBD protocols.
Hands-on with Git, Azure DevOps (CI/CD), Canoe, Canalyser.
