About the Role
Job Description
In this role, your day‑to‑day work will focus on keeping production systems reliable, observable, and easy to deploy. You’ll spend time designing and tuning monitoring and alerting for ECS, EC2, and IIS‑based applications, defining SLIs/SLOs, and responding to incidents by digging into logs, metrics, and traces to identify root causes. You’ll own container creation and lifecycle management through CI/CD, helping teams ship changes safely using rolling, blue/green, or canary deployments. A typical day also includes improving pipeline automation, enforcing security and compliance in builds, managing secrets and certificates, and evolving infrastructure‑as‑code to keep environments consistent from dev through production. Beyond implementation, you’ll regularly test failover and rollback paths, document operational processes, and partner closely with developers to improve reliability, resilience, and the overall developer experience.
