About the Role
Qualifications
- Strong Linux administration background and advanced scripting skills (Bash, Shell, or Python).
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent.
- Thorough knowledge of replication, data protection, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
- Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance best practices.
- Experience with database technologies in high-volume, high-availability environments.
- Experience with Liquibase or similar schema migration tools.
- Experience with Jenkins pipelines and Groovy scripting.
- Experience with blue/green or zero-downtime deployment strategies.
- Understanding of containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
