About the Role
The Design, Technical, Electrical & Commissioning Engineer is responsible for the design, technical support, installation oversight, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems across projects. The role bridges design engineering and site execution, ensuring systems are safe, compliant, efficient, and fully operational from concept through handover.
Key Responsibilities Commissioning
Electrical Design & Engineering
Develop electrical designs, schematics, single-line diagrams, layouts, and specifications.
Perform load calculations, cable sizing, protection coordination, and equipment selection.
Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations (e.g. IEC, BS, IEEE, NEC, local codes).
Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and vendor documentation.
Support value engineering and design optimization.
