Design Specialist

Job Purpose:

Responsible in the maintaining the design standards of the mall through establishing design requirements and reviewing proposed design concepts in accordance with the business standards

Responsibilities:

• Establish project requirements, scope of work, project budget and schedule
• Propose design concepts that will characterize the aesthetic intent of the project; review with the Client and secure approval
• Develop approved design concept and prepare drawings, list of materials and specifications; prepare documents for construction
• Ensure regulatory compliance of design
• Identify and invite qualified contractors to bid; conduct pre-procurement and pre-bid meetings and receive bids and recommend award of contract
