Design tools to support production on safety, ergonomics, quality and productivity based on Tool Design Manuals and best shop practices for forming, drilling and machining processes. Understanding of materials and their properties to ensure the tools meet safety and performance standards. Strong communication skills to collaborate with other disciplines across the business. Support Operations and Manufacturing Processes to ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards. Responsible for the RCCA to solve problems. Support and suggest corrective actions to solve quality internal and external problems. Creativity to develop innovative solutions and optimize tool designs for performance and efficiency.
