Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Participate in New Product Development (NPD) activities from concept to production.
Prepare, review, and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
Apply basic drawing principles including:
Orthographic views and sectional views
First angle and third angle methods of projection
Implement GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards in design documentation.
Ensure proper application of limits, fits, and tolerances in components and assemblies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement.
Support design validation and product improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of engineering drawing interpretation.
Sound knowledge of GD&T and dimensional control practices.
Awareness of limits, fits, and tolerance stack-up concepts.
