JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
Regal Rexnord is seeking an experienced product design professional with a mechanical engineering background to support NPD, VAVE or redesign projects.
Major Responsibilities:
Provide support to NPD, VAVE, redesign projects execution.Design new components & modify existing components per customer requirements. Perform various engineering calculations.Provide support in creating DFMEA and DFM&A assessments as needed.Provide support for preparing test plan required for lab testing. Co-ordinate all activities related to testing per test plan including vendor interaction. Provide inputs for FEA validations.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute project deliverables.Support in creating drawings, design documents, installation instructions, customer data sheets etc.Perform competitor study and identify opportunities.
