Design Engineer – Aircraft Structures (eVTOL)
Location - Bristol (Hybrid Working)
Salary - £70,000 – £90,000 + Benefits
An ambitious aerospace company leading the development of next-generation electric aircraft is looking for an experienced Aircraft Structures Design Engineer to join its Bristol-based team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the design of advanced eVTOL platforms and help shape the future of sustainable aviation.
The Role
You will be responsible for the design and development of primary and secondary aircraft structures, including wing, fuselage, and empennage assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design composite and metallic airframe structures
* Develop and manage 3D model-based definitions using CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE
* Work within digital mock-up (DMU) environments
* Produce engineering drawings and manufacturing data for release
