About the Role

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for the design, development, and engineering of fiberglass/composite products and tooling within the manufacturing environment. The Design Engineer ensures that engineering designs meet customer specifications, NOV standards, manufacturing capability, and cost-effectiveness requirements. The position supports product development, material evaluation, drafting, and design tooling and machinery optimization to enhance product performance and production efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITY & AUTHORITY:
Develop, modify, and refine engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to support production and customer requirements.
Create detailed 2D/3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using CAD software in compliance with NOV drafting standards.
Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and product development teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and performance.
