Law graduate with at least 8 years of relevant experience and 3 years bar enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Review the amendments to various laws, rules and regulations made by federal, provincial and other statutory bodies from time to time.
• Evaluate the probable effect on SSGC operations.
• Advise on the queries and requests for clarifications on legal issues received from management and departmental users considering the applicable law, rules and regulations.
• Engage with the stakeholders and relevant departments through meetings/consultations to understand matters with legal implications.
• Based on research, develop appropriate draft/brief/reply/opinion/working paper stating the facts and opinion/views as required.
• Study the drafts of impending legislation, evaluate the probable effect on SSGC and advise the management on the possible steps to be taken to protect the company’s interests.
