About the Role
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Record treatment information in patient records
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dental Assistant certification (e.g., CDA, RDA) preferred
- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is an advantage
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Proficient in dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus
