Demand Planner

Role Summary:

The Demand Planner is responsible for all sales forecasting, inventory planning, ordering and replenishment activities associated with the nominated products from their Department.

Main Functions:

• Review historical sales trends and evaluate past results

• Prepare and update weekly forecast data, including accounting for updated marketing plans

• Reconcile significant variances and improve forecast accuracy

• Provide feedback and suggestions to the Department on inventory risks and opportunities

• Work collaboratively to drive consensus decisions with the Planner and the Buyer

• Regularly interact with Departments, Supply Chain, Retail Ops, the Global Sourcing Office and Suppliers

• Determine order quantities and delivery / flow schedule

• Make use of the appropriate Supply Chain Channel
