Position Summary/Description:
Reporting to the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost, the Dean of the Law School is the school’s Chief Academic Officer and will provide academic, intellectual, and administrative leadership for the school. The dean is responsible for advancing the academic mission and vision of the school. He/she will increase the strength and vitality of the school’s educational and scholarly mission by promoting the recruitment and retention of creative and distinguished faculty, while developing resources to support their teaching, research, and scholarly activities. The dean is also responsible for leading the recruitment and retention efforts for attracting high caliber law and graduate students, providing them with superior academic and professional experience.
