DBA / SQL Developer

Database Administrator

The Database administrator provides specialized technical input and support and ensures auditing, configuration standards, security levels and technical support are delivered timely and professionally to promote a sound operating environment.

This position will also involve some data modelling and SQL development work.

You Will:

• Perform technical administrative tasks relative to the environments on a daily basis to ensure the databases are accessible and stable via the applications.
• Provide assistance and technical support to other staff members/vendors to ensure the design and management of the databases are operational.
• Prevent security breeches, intrusions or attacks to the environment by ensuring appropriate measures are in place to allow for auditing, alerts and reporting on a daily basis.
