DB2 Level 3 Engineer (AS/400 & AIX)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled
DB2 Level 3 Engineer
with deep expertise in
DB2 database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
across
IBM AS/400 (iSeries) and AIX platforms
. This role is responsible for advanced incident resolution, root cause analysis, optimization, and providing guidance to the support teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide
  Level 3 support
  for DB2 databases running on
  AS/400 (IBM iSeries)
  and
  AIX
  environments.
• Lead
  complex incident investigations
  and drive root cause analysis for recurring database and system performance issues.
• Perform
  advanced performance tuning
  , query optimization, and index management to ensure optimal DB2 performance.
• Design and implement
  backup, recovery, and high availability (HA/DR)
  strategies.
