Database Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, organization, management, implementation and operation of the Group's database services.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with IT teams for rapid system restoration, diagnose issues, and apply corrective actions.
Manage and maintain database environments across Production and Non-Production servers.
Enforce data access controls, apply security patches, and meet compliance/audit standards.
Proactively resolve operational issues; optimize queries for performance.
Strategize and implement database systems with focus on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Monitor resource usage and performance; recommend upgrades and capacity improvements.
Maintain availability and performance through alerts, tuning, and preventive measures.
Handle installation/configuration standards with attention to security protocols.
Analyze incidents and trends to execute preventive maintenance.
