About the Role
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Database Engineer, DBA, or related role
- Strong expertise in SQL and database architecture
- Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server or MongoDB
- Deep understanding of performance tuning, replication, sharding, and high availability
- Experience working in Linux server environments
- Familiarity with cloud database services (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure SQL, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Experience with large-scale or high-traffic systems
- Knowledge of data warehousing, analytics, or big data platforms
- Experience with automation, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code
- Background in DevOps
