Database Engineer (IT)

Scope of Work

The Database Engineer shall be responsible for both database and system-level activities required to support database platforms.

Database Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade database platforms.
• Design and implement high availability, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, and data protection strategies.
• Monitor database health, availability, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents.
• Implement database security controls.
• Support data migration, schema changes, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with application teams on database integration.
