About the Role
My client is a boutique professional services firm delivering complex State Government programs is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join a high-performing team supporting critical enterprise environments.
This role will suit a seasoned DBA with strong Microsoft SQL Server expertise and exposure to Oracle environments, who thrives in structured, security-focused, and highly governed environments.
Key Skills & Experience

5+ years’ experience administering Microsoft SQL Server (2012–2022) across Windows virtual servers, Azure, AWS, Azure SQL Database and AWS RDS

Strong experience with installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, database creation and ongoing maintenance (statistics, index rebuilds)

Proven expertise in backup and recovery, HA/DR strategies including Mirroring and AlwaysOn
