About the Role
What will you do?
- Design and manage scalable, high-availability database architectures on GCP (Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, NoSQL).
- Administer and optimize PostgreSQL, Firestore, and MongoDB environments while automating infrastructure with Terraform (IaC).
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations while ensuring security and governance.
- Provide technical support and mentorship on GCP database solutions.
- Strong experience with GCP, Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), AlloyDB, and NoSQL (Firestore / MongoDB Atlas).
- Proficient in Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (schema design, indexing, query optimization, replication, HA).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex database environments.
