Database Administrator

Job Overview:

The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• SQL Database Administration, High Availability, Performance tuning, ITIL, Always ON
• Good-to-Have
• SSIS, SSRS

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

• Detailed knowledge of  SQL Server Database management processes and architecture
• Ability to communicate and articulate technology discussions in relation to Databases at both technical and business levels
• 4-6 years' experience as a Production SQL Server DBA
• Deep understanding of SQL Server performance analysis and tuning / capacity planning / query optimization
