Database Administrator

JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for the end-to-end administration, monitoring, and optimization of the bank's database environments across production, disaster recovery, development, and testing. It ensures database stability, security, performance, and availability through effective capacity planning, backup and recovery strategies, and performance tuning. The role supports business continuity objectives, enforces information security and confidentiality policies, collaborates with application and data center teams, and provides 24/7 technical support as needed. It also drives continuous improvement through system enhancements, research, and adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sets-up and maintains all databases for Production (PRD), Disaster and Recovery (DR), Development (DEV), System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Environment.
