About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator to join our growing IT Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our on-prem SQL and cloud databases. This role requires a strong understanding of database administration best practices, including performance tuning, security, and disaster recovery. Experience with Oracle administration and cloud technologies like Azure and GCP is a significant plus.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server instances and databases in DEV, Test, and Production environments

Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans

Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning

Monitor database health and performance

Ensure data security, integrity and access control as per auditing standards
