Data Platform Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of data systems and backend services that ingest and process large volumes of data daily.
• Architect and optimize data warehouse / OLAP systems (e.g., BigQuery, StarRocks, Snowflake, Redshift) for analytics and reporting.
• Build Golang microservices/APIs to integrate data with products and internal tools.
• Define standards for data modeling, governance, and security.
• Implement strategies for query performance optimization and cost reduction.
• Own monitoring, scaling, and disaster recovery strategies for data infrastructure.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and guide best practices.
• Partner with leadership on long-term data platform strategy.
