Data Migration Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end migration of data pipelines from the existing stack (Pentaho, PostgreSQL, BigQuery) to the new stack (SQLMesh, Dagster)
• Collaborate closely with the client's internal team on their ongoing Proof of Concept (POC)
• Ensure seamless integration, optimal workflow performance
• Strict data integrity throughout the migration process

Requirements:

• Proven data engineering background with strong ETL/ELT expertise
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and Pentaho
• Familiarity with modern orchestration tools like SQLMesh and Dagster is a strong advantage
• Ability to work independently, manage client relationships, and communicate effectively
• Prior experience in or comfort working with the online gaming industry is required
