About the Role
Join our R&D team to build the mathematical heart of eRoots. You will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance algorithms for power flow, optimal power flow (OPF), and time-domain simulations.
What You'll Do- Develop state-of-the-art solvers for large-scale sparse systems of equations.
- Implement optimization techniques for grid expansion and market simulation.
- Optimize computational speed and memory usage for our cloud-based engine.
- Research and implement new numerical methods for power system stability.
- PhD in Applied Mathematics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong background in numerical analysis and optimization.
- Experience in Python or C++ for scientific computing.
- Passion for solving the energy transition's technical bottlenecks.
