Job Roles & Responsibilities:-
- Define and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Manage metadata, data catalog, and lineage documentation.
- Monitor and enforce data quality, classification, access control, and security.
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with stakeholders (data owners, IT, legal) to embed governance practices.
- Conduct audits, assess governance effectiveness, and report on KPIs.
- Lead data stewardship initiatives and training to build data literacy.
- Support data governance in cloud ecosystems AWS, Azure, Databricks.
