Data Entry Clerk
The role involves data entry tasks and close liaison with the Head of Department for Pre-Analytics and other department heads and staff. The candidate must accurately enter patient information and related codes into the Lab Information System (LIS) following SOP procedures.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter patient demographic information, doctor and billing codes, and other relevant details into the LIS.
- Ensure the correct tests are ordered based on the request for the patient.
- Check completed entries against the request form to maintain accuracy.
- Notify the Coordinator or Head of Department immediately for any discrepancies encountered during entry.
- Clarify ambiguous information with clients, branches, or collection centers.
- Scan all request forms and official receipts into the document management system and file hard copies according to the date of data entry.
