About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain our data pipelines and AWS-based infrastructure. This role requires collaboration with US-based clients, so availability for overlapping US hours is necessary. You will work closely with analytics, product, and engineering teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure data processing workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines for large-scale data processing.
- Build and manage data lakes, ensuring proper governance and access control.
- Work with AWS services including Glue, Lake Formation, Athena, Step Functions, S3, Lambda, EC2, SQS, and EventBridge.
- Monitor data workflows, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with teams and clients on data requirements, architecture, and delivery.
- Optional: Manage VPC/VPN configurations and infrastructure as code using Terraform, CDK, or similar tools.
