Data Developer, FinTech

Position Overview

Data Developer, FinTech – hybrid – 2 days in office, remote rest.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cloud migration and modernize current data systems.
• Oversee data systems that serve hundreds of millions of real‑time events per day.
• Collaborate on building software that collects and queries data, and compose queries for investigation.
• Diagnose and solve issues within data infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines on a cloud platform (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) using orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and cloud‑native tools.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, cleanse data from various sources into cloud‑based data warehouses.
• Create and maintain data models in cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse) optimized for analytics, reporting, and financial analysis.
