About the Role

Job Description
Overview:Our client is seeking a Data Centre Lead for a 6-month contract to oversee key infrastructure build and risk assessment activities at their Montreal, QC location. This role requires hands-on experience in physical data centre environments and a strong understanding of both IT and facility systems.Key Responsibilities:Lead risk assessments for data centre infrastructure, focusing on electrical, mechanical, and environmental conditions.
Evaluate redundancy and diversified paths for all critical systems.
Oversee end-to-end data centre builds, including:
Power and cooling system installation
Structural cabling and equipment racking/stacking
Security implementation
Design documentation and physical layout
Work on-site to coordinate cabling, patching, and physical setup of IT and non-IT systems.
