Data Center Engineer

Scope of Work

• Assist in the physical setup of server racks, cabling, power distribution, and equipment installation
• Maintain and support servers, storage, and network devices in accordance with design plans
• Provide hands-on technical support during hardware refresh, upgrades, and migrations
• Coordinate with Facilities team for power, cooling, and environmental concerns
• Execute deployments to lower environment based on approved architectural designs
• Support implementation of infrastructure improvement plans (UPS, CRAC, structured cabling)
• Support implementation for rack space usage, cabling, airflow, and energy efficiency
• Enforce access control and physical security procedures in the data center
• Perform routine checks for asset integrity, label compliance, and audit trail documentation
