About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process import and export documentation in compliance with Canadian customs regulations and procedures
  • Coordinate the payment of duties, taxes, and related charges to ensure timely release of shipments
  • Classify goods accurately using HS codes and maintain up-to-date client profiles, including tariff treatments and vendor information
  • Ensure entries are submitted and closed within required timelines to avoid delays, storage fees, or penalties
  • Provide timely updates to clients and respond to inquiries regarding shipment status and customs requirements
  • Liaise with customs authorities and external partners to resolve clearance issues and shipment exceptions
  • Support duty drawback activities and ensure compliance with duty deferral programs
