Role Responsibility

An Opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice to join the Tonbridge District Libraries team in the Libraries, Registrations and Archives Division. A Kent County Council Apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to earn a salary and gain a real qualification whilst gaining valuable workplace skills and experience.

This is a great opportunity to gain a level 2 qualification in Customer Service whilst working for a large, diverse, rapidly changing organisation.

The work of the library service is hugely rewarding and every day the front of house teams make a difference to the lives of their customers and local communities. Libraries have a lot more to offer than just books; with reading groups, talks and exhibitions there are activities for every age group from Baby Rhyme Time to internet classes for older people.
