Credit Controller - Malvern -- £28,000 - £30,000

Job Purpose:

The Credit Controller will be responsible for managing the company's debtors, ensuring timely payments, and reducing the risk of bad debts. This role involves closely monitoring customer accounts, following up on overdue payments, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal & external customers / stakeholders.

The Credit Controller is key to ensuring the company’s cash flow remains strong and financial health is maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manage customer accounts: Monitor outstanding balances, ensure timely collection of payments, and proactively chase overdue accounts.

* Follow up on overdue payments: Use phone calls, emails, and letters to ensure payments are made, resolving any issues preventing payment.

* Allocate payments: Accurately allocate incoming payments to the correct customer accounts and invoices.
