COX Equipment Engineer

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Owns and supports wirebonder, thermal cycling chamber,  white light interferometer, lasermarker and dage machine
• Installs, qualifies, and releases equipment into production
• Develops and executes equipment qualification and capability studies
• Troubleshoots equipment issues affecting product performance, yield, and reliability   
• Drives reduction on equipment downtime thus keeping machine OEE at or above industry standard
• Optimizes equipment parameters to improve test accuracy, throughput, and repeatability
• Supports NPI and product transfers, ensuring test and packaging equipment readiness
• Collaborates with Process, Product and Quality Engineering teams on root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions   
• Works with vendors on equipment installation, upgrades, calibration, and technical issues
