Job Purpose:
To prepare accurate cost estimations for self-climbing platform systems used in high-rise construction projects. The role involves analysing project requirements, material take-offs, labour costs, and vendor quotations to support competitive and profitable project bids.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for self-climbing platforms based on project drawings and specifications.
Analyse labour, material, and equipment requirements and apply standard costing methods.
Coordinate with design and engineering teams to understand technical aspects of climbing platform systems.
Monitor and update unit costs regularly based on market trends and historical project data.
Assist in preparing costing breakdown and presentations for clients.
