Cost & Producibility Engineer

**Job Description Summary**: The Cost & Producibility Engineer demonstrates accountability for functional and business objectives addressing product cost-out and producibility opportunities or improvements in all phases of the product's life cycle.This engineer will perform activities across Engineering and Supply Chain organizations to identify cost strategies, design changes and manufacturing process improvements with minimum guidance, having as main goal to meet business cost and producibility targets.
**Roles and Responsibilities**- Identify and execute cost out projects per the VCP Lab - Variable Cost Productivity Lab Playbook mainly for commodities as SHS - Share Hardware Solutions, GM&F - Global Machining & Fabrications and SH - Standard Hardware.
- Identify opportunities to achieve business outcomes using cost analysis tools, should costs and cost derivatives.
