Cost Engineer

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Monitoring the actual progress of work through visual inspection or actual measurement of work on a day-to-day basis.
2. Recording the actual progress and submitting it to the report.
3. Reconciling the quantity being billed by subcontractors through joint measurement.
4. Providing assistance in monitoring and analyzing project cost estimates, expenditures, and forecasts.
5. Performing a variety of cost engineering functions encompassing estimating, cost control, budget preparations, forecasting, and cost reporting under limited supervision.
6. Handling of contracts and analyzing project cost and financial reports.
7. Tracking financial risks and forecasting trends.
8. Performing and ensuring an effective cost control function for ongoing projects.
9. Maintaining the current cost control database of the project.
