Cost Engineer - Glazing & Sealing

We are seeking a highly analytical Cost Engineer specialized in Automotive Body Components – Glazing & Sealing to support global vehicle programs. This role focuses on cost analysis, technical cost modeling, and optimization of automotive glass and sealing systems including windshields, side glass, back glass, and sealing components.

The Cost Engineer will develop detailed cost models using activity-based costing methodologies, analyze supplier quotations, and support Design-to-Cost initiatives to ensure cost competitiveness throughout the full vehicle lifecycle. The role will work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, and Program Teams to support cost targets, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for glazing and sealing components using activity-based costing methodologies
• Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM), CAD drawings, and technical specifications
