Position Summary

The Cost Accounting Manager oversees all cost accounting activities for two manufacturing plants and serves as a key financial business partner to Operations leadership. This role is responsible for standard costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation, and driving cost visibility and margin improvement.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage all financial aspects of a manufacturing plant, including budgeting, financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing for assigned areas.
  • Prepare annual budget and periodic forecasts.
  • Support Operations through partnering and preparation of timely, detailed analytical reports regarding costs, spend, and variances.
  • Analyze manufacturing operations, equipment availability and utilization, and labor operations to ensure efficiency.
