Coordinator - Patient Imaging

KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Performs consistent quality scheduling of patients to all modalities in Radiology to meet the needs of the

patient and physician.

· Consistently performs accurate Patient Identification practices, including proper PEARL record searches.

· Initiates and advocates decisions in the context of patient experience and patient-centered care –

which impacts patients, families, and physicians.

· Involvement in pre-authorization and insurance verification during scheduling activities

· Exceptional patient relations and communication in all telephone, email and/or face-to-face patient

encounters to provide a superior 1st point of contact patient experience.

· Observes and maintains patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
