Position: Commis II
Position Summary
The Commis II Chef is responsible to prepare a consistent, high-quality food product, ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service and restaurant operational standards. You will be also responsible for directing Commis I chefs in meal preparation and ensuring that all stations are clean and well maintained.
Direct Supervisor: Sous Chef
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Strictly complies with all safety & hygiene standards
- Strictly complies with all standard recipes of the company
- Is always in full proper uniform
- Knows how to operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
- Commis I Chef ensures that all stocks are well maintained
- Commis I ensures that all products utilized in their mis en place is of highest quality and standard
- May be assigned as a station cook (Sandwiches, Salads, & Dessert)
