About the Role

Position: Commis II

Position Summary

The Commis II Chef is responsible to prepare a consistent, high-quality food product, ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service and restaurant operational standards. You will be also responsible for directing Commis I chefs in meal preparation and ensuring that all stations are clean and well maintained.

Direct Supervisor: Sous Chef

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strictly complies with all safety & hygiene standards
  • Strictly complies with all standard recipes of the company
  • Is always in full proper uniform
  • Knows how to operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
  • Commis I Chef ensures that all stocks are well maintained
  • Commis I ensures that all products utilized in their mis en place is of highest quality and standard
  • May be assigned as a station cook (Sandwiches, Salads, & Dessert)
