About the Role
This is not a typical corporate desk role. We need someone who will partner with operations, understands job costing, payroll, WIP, and construction-style billing — and can operate independently.
You will oversee full-cycle accounting, monthly reporting, compliance (HST, CRA, WSIB, EHT), and help modernize our processes toward a more digital, paperless system.
We are practical. If you understand fabrication margins, labour tracking, and project-based accounting — we want to talk.
Responsibilities
· Full-cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL, payroll oversight)
· Progress billings, change orders & holdbacks
· Job costing and WIP tracking
· Monthly financial reporting to ownership
· HST, CRA, WSIB, EHT compliance
· Cash flow monitoring and margin protection
