We are seeking a driven aerospace engineer as Stress Engineering Contractor for BETA Technologies' Montreal Structures team. The role supports the certification of electric aircraft through composite and metallic structural analysis, FEM, hand calculations, stress reports, and manufacturing support.
Responsibilities
- Generate and review composite and metallic structural analysis using FEM and hand calculations.
- Compile stress reports to support certification.
- Support manufacturing and aircraft assembly MRB, collaborating within an IPT.
- Derive test plans and requirements, develop material datasets, complete trade studies, and support structural test execution.
- Perform stress analysis and trade studies, provide low‑level test execution support, derive stress requirements and allowables, and analyze test results.
